An exploration of Emmanuel Levinas' relationship to a wide range of intellectual traditions, including theology, philosophy of culture, Jewish thought, phenomenology, and the history of philosophy. It also engages Levinas' contribution to ethics, politics, law, justice, psychoanalysis and epistemology, among other themes.
