Arnie Jensen and friends inadvertently stumble across a scheme concocted by a small time attorney to fraudulently collect life insurance proceeds. The trio discover a map hidden in a van purchased at an impound auction sale. But unusual interest in the vehicle by an unsuccessful bidder at the sale piques their interest. Their suspicions puts them squarely in front of a missing drug dealer who does not want to be found, an ex-navy seal who has patiently waited for a large payoff, and an attorney who has kept the two parties at bay and wants no one to learn of his role in facilitation of insurance fraud. There is only one problem though. Arnie and friends now have a map of the locations where a fortune is sequestered and are about to venture out to retrieve it. They suspect an elaborate plan to defraud an insurance company. Arnie must again use his powers to travel across the communication network via fax machines to uncover the fraud, locate the alleged disappeared and collect a reward for the discovery of the scheme. The author has a 40 year career in the investment management field where he managed portfolios for institutional clients and ran bank trust divisions. He is also an author of magazine articles, op ed pieces and the precursor to this current book. He is also a musician, playing trombone in local groups in Santa Barbara County. In his off time, he runs, surfs, day works on local cattle ranches, and is a Captain with a volunteer fire department in Mono County.
