Adventures of Diana Part III: On the Road is the third book in a series that takes you through the world of ten-year-old Diana through her own eyes. As a soon-to-be fifth grader, Diana reflects on some of the most memorable events of the past year— from the fun and whimsical to the challenging and scary. In her retelling of these events, Diana illustrates how facing her fears head-on helped her become a more responsible, thoughtful, and resilient young woman.

The author, Rachel Yang, is a ten-year-old girl who articulates her own life experiences by giving voice to the fictionalized Diana— a curious and confident kid who shares the ups and downs of her life as a pre-teen as well as the lessons she learns along the way.

Rachel Yang is ten years old and is an only child. She is very lonely because her parents are busy and have almost no time for her. She promised her mom to have eight children when she grows up so they won't be lonely. In her spare time, Rachel began to write, and that's how this book series started.
