When Paige's daddy insists that fairies aren't real it becomes her quest to find a real life fairy and prove him wrong. Along with her sister Kelsey, Paige manages to find not only a fairy but a mythical wooden creature called a dryad as well. Bringing them home as pets and naming them Flitter and Plank, they learn that the creatures are the bitterest of enemies.
