Andrew Rogers : Geoglyphs, Rhythms of Life

Over the last ten years, Andrew Rogers - one of Australia's most distinguished contemporary sculptors - has created a series of massive stone geoglyphs (land sculptures) that for a chain across the world. Collectively known as 'The Rhythms of Life', these structures represent the eternal cycle of life, growth, and death, along with all the emotions that colour human existence. Geoglyphs is a spectacular photographic record of Rogers' creative journey through the frozen wastes of Iceland, the dizzying heights of the Bolivian Altipano, the unspoiled serenity of Nepal's Himalayas, the searing heat of deserts, and other far flung locations in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
