Amelia Leigh is in the middle of moving into her new home in Florence, Alabama, when she tangles with a bellicose neighbor over her beloved mutt, Lucy. Matters escalate, then Amelia discovers a murder victim. Not that she is any stranger to homicide. Just ask Billy Frazier, the investigator who has been tracking Amelia since the untimely death of her husband. Convinced that his prime suspect has killed again and determined to bring her to justice, the policeman may be overlooking a serial killer.
