Arab Americans in Michigan

The state of Michigan contains one ofthe largest and most diverse ArabAmerican populations in the UnitedStates. As the third largest ethnicpopulation in the state, ArabAmericans are an economically importantand politically influential groupthat contains a great amount of diversityin national origins, religions, educationlevels, socioeconomic levels,and degrees of acculturation. In spiteof their considerable presence, ArabAmericans have always been a misunderstoodethnic population inMichigan, even before terrorist attacksof 9/11.
