Mireille Silcoff is the editor-in-chief of Guilt & Pleasure Quarterly, a review of new Jewish writing and ideas, and a lead columnist for the National Post. She is the founder of a string of discussion salons now active in several American and Canadian cities. She is the recipient of two National Magazine Awards, and her books include Rave America and The Book of E, a cultural history of the recreational drug Ecstasy.
Kagan McLeod is a Toronto-based illustrator whose work has been published in Toro, Toronto Life, Mad, and New York magazine, and most frequently the National Post. His martial arts-themed graphic novel Infinite Kung fu is scheduled for release in 2007, and he has recently contributed to Tommy Boy Films’ kung fu DVD series Kung Faux.
