August Rodin

The six chapters of this study - The Kiss, Allegorical Couples, Artist and Muse, Mythological and Literary Couples, Female Couples and Mother & Child - use Rodin's sculptures of couples as a starting point into an in-depth exploration of Rodin's concepts of the feminine, love and transcendence, as well as the origin and inspiration of art. It presents 40 original sculptures by Rodin as well as many contemporary drawings, watercolors, gravures and photographs. German text.
