Backcountry Log

A notebook that combines an appreciation for nature with the handcrafted feel of letterpress printing, Back Country Log is the perfect gift for a camper or outdoorsman.

Small and gifty, Back Country Log is part of a suite of products created by Blackbird Letterpress geared toward lovers of handcrafted paper products and the great outdoors. Lightly guided inside, the log has space for multiple hikes or excursions, and is curated to help backpackers record the most crucial details of their adventures. Illustrated backmatter on trail etiquette and animal tracks adds a hand-hewn touch.

KATHRYN HUNTER trained as a printmaker and has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in printmaking from Montana State University, Bozeman, and a Master of Fine Arts in printmaking from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge. She began Blackbird Letterpress in 2003 in Lafayette, Louisiana, and it has won several design awards, including the Louie Award (Greeting Card Association) and the Trendy Award (Stationery Trends magazine).
