Fabulous, fierce, flawless, fantastic, and funny. This list is not only an excellent example of alliteration but it also accurately describes Tina Fey (and her book entitled Bossypants).
Basically, all you need to know about this book is that it’s awesome and you should read it. The book is written pretty much in the exact same way as Tina Fey talks and that makes it a thousand times better. It’s all about her childhood, awkward teen years, and rise to fame. I love these kinds of books because seeing how the celebrity got to where they are today makes them more real to me. Tina expertly makes the reader feel like an old friend that she’s sharing a story with and it makes you never want to stop reading.
I laughed out loud more times than I count and that guaranteed Bossypants a spot on my list of books that make me feel better when I’m sad. I don’t doubt that Bossypants will inspire you and lift you up when you’re feeling down. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
