Describes in rhymed text and illustrations some of the wonderful dreams dreamed by a group of teddy bears during the night.

PreS-K Twelve teddy bears dream of dinosaurs and cowboys, dragons and pirate treasure. Each bear's name is mentioned in a four-line verse, bordered in a band of starry blue, facing a richly detailed, full-page, full-color picture. The last page reads, ``The teddy bears have shared their dreams, /And these are but a few; /So now it's time to close your eyes, /And dream a dream for you.'' This calculated mixture of rhyme, familiar names, and traditional storytime settings seems directed to parents who remember with nostalgia tales of mermaids, Pan, sorcerers, and pieces of eight.
