Many Centuries ago, a great evil turned its will to the destruction of the Kingdoms of Humans, Elves and Dwarves, that constitute the Eastern Kingdom of Warlands. On the brink of annihilation, a twist of fate prevented that evil from completing its task. That evil has come back. Led by Malagen the Black, supreme ruler of the vampire nation of Datara, a dark army of the undead now threatens to once again shatter the fragile balance of life in the world. This time however, their purpose has changed. This time Malagen seeks not only to destroy and subjugate Warland's people, he has turned his attention to the attainment of a powerful artifact from the age of Faerie known only as the Darklyte Armor.
