The world of emergency medicine has come a long way since the State of Georgia passed a law in 1972 requiring ambulance service providers to be trained and licensed. This story is a quick glimpse into the world of a paramedic¿s first year on the job after the law took effect. Follow along as Thomas abandons his dead end factory job and learns the ropes of his new profession.
