Mardi Gras is a time of madness, a frenzy of celebration. But for Steve Giroux, the madness has become all too real. A mysterious voice on the phone wants something from him--evidence of a ghastly, unspeakable murder--and will use all the evil forces at its command to get it. Suddenly Steve is cast into a swirling nightmare of voodoo, black magic, and blood, a nightmare that can only get worse until he delivers what the voice wants. But how can Steve deliver what he's never had?
