Dr. M. Sara Rosenthal is a bioethicist and medical sociologist.  She is the author of over twenty-five widely recommended health books, including her most recently acclaimed The Skinny on Fat and The Complete Thyroid Book. She is a frequent contributor to WebMD, and also serves on health advisory councils within the corporate sector. Dr. Rosenthal received both her masters and Ph.D. from the University of Toronto’s Joint Centre for Bioethics, the only World Health Organization collaborating center in bioethics.
