This book is a study of the Lutheran Peace Fellowship (LPF), which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 1991, and its impact on the social teaching of the Lutheran Church in the United States. Schroeder documents LPF's development as a case study of the relationship between the Church's 'edge' and the shape it takes in the world.
