Sheila Macrine, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Curriculum and Teaching Department at Montclair State University in New Jersey. Her research interests focus on connecting the cultural, institutional, and personal contexts of pedagogy, particularly as they relate to the social imagination and progressive democratic education.
