El Chico del periódico

Memphis, 1959. Un chico de 11 años es el mejor lanzador de pelota que jamás se haya visto, pero hablar no se le da tan bien como jugar al béisbol: no es capaz de pronunciar una sola palabra sin tartamudear, ni siquiera su nombre. Así que, cuando le toca cubrir la ruta del reparto de periódicos de su amigo, sabe que no tendrá más remedio que comunicarse con los clientes y que tendrá dificultades para hacerlo. Sin embargo, lo que le causará verdaderos problemas y lo que pondrá su vida en peligro, así como la de la sirvienta de la familia, es un altercado con el chatarrero del barrio, que es un abusón y un ladrón.

Memphis, 1959. An 11-year-old boy is the best pitcher ever, but he is not as good at talking as playing baseball: he cannot utter a single word without stuttering, not even his name. So when he has to cover his friend's newspaper delivery route, he knows that he will have no choice but to communicate with clients and that he will have a hard time doing so. However, what will cause him real problems and what will put his life in danger, as well as that of the family maid, is an altercation with the neighborhood junk dealer, who is a bully and a thief.
