This work involves a detailed survey of all the passages in the teaching of Jesus that can be regarded as clearly ethical, and should itself help to make more objective the results of the inquiry as well as more completely insure that the teaching itself should be unfolded, rather than simply talked about. Jesus was interested in life rather than in technical discussions about life.Dr. Henry Churchill King was a well known American educator, the president of Oberlin College and the author of numerous volumes on theology, education and philosophy. During 1918-1919 he was director of religious work for the YMCA in France prior to being appointed by President Woodrow Wilson to the Inter-Allied Commission on Mandates in Turkey, now known as the King-Crane Commission.
