Europeanization, Integration and Identity: A Social Constructivist Fusion Perspective on Norway

This book draws on identity politics to explore the impact of Europeanisation. It explores which factors contribute to or hinder the Europeanization and assesses how can the Europeanization at the actor level be measured and tested empirically. Using a social constructivist approach and fusion perspective, this book offers a new approach to analyze how EU level norms, values, policies, institutions and actors impact on Norwegian national elite'¬"s EU perceptions and attitudes, and subsequent foreign policy choices.
