Expedition to Pine Hollow

A Children's Book-of-the-Month Club Selection FROM THE BLOG OF CAM WALKEREagle Tower is just about the most important place in the world to my friends and me. The first Outrider expeditioneverwas a hike to Eagle Tower. For us, it's kind of like the spot where my friends and IbecameOutriders. So when we found out that a mining company was going to tear the tower down in five days, wehadto plan one last expedition there.One thing I can say about expeditions is that most times they turn out a lot differently than you planned. For instance, here is a bunch of things we didn't know would happen in Pine Hollow:1 THAT WE WOULD RUN INTO A GROUP OF KIDS FROM UP IN THE BLUFFS WHO SORT OF FELT THE SAME WAY ABOUT EAGLE TOWER AS WE DID2 THAT OUR FRIEND BETTINA WAS CONCEALING SOMETHING REALLY IMPORTANT FROM ALL OF US3 THAT THE MINING COMPANY WOULD START DYNAMITING FIVE DAYS AHEAD OF SCHEDULEOh, and I probably should mention that we discovered a lost city andwere almost trapped in there for eternity, but you can read all about itin the rest of my blog....
