Fatal Journey The Final Expedition of Henry Hudson

One year after discovering the Hudson River and claiming the New York region for the Dutch, Henry Hudson set out again in search of the fabled Northwest Passage. Navigating past Iceland and fields of icebergs, he entered what would become known as Hudson Bay. But his small ship, the Discovery, became icebound in November 1610, subjecting Hudson and his crew to seven months of desperate cold. When the ice thawed, the men mutinied-leaving behind Hudson, his son, and seven other men. Their remains have never been found.
