This symposium provided opportunity for professional interaction among the leaders and other in terms of books, papers, and software. This was a cutting-edgeSymposium on Fitting Statistical Distributions to Data. Proceedings volumes, which are FSDD-I and FSDD-II, based on refereed papers from the Symposium, were given a high level of importance, since they make the Symposium material available to a wider audience. All papers were refereed for consideration for these Proceedings.
