Foucault, Christianity and Interfaith Dialogue

This book develops a new model for interfaith dialogue and the role it ought to play in the constitution of the self and the making of society using Foucault's work on the de-centring of transcendence and human reason. This Foucaultian approach offers a new direction for interfaith dialogue and leads to an ethical rather than nihilistic position providing an important and original contribution to the areas of Foucault studies and contemporary theology.
