A Gentle Touch

"A Gentle Touch" is a poetry book both written and illustrated by twelve year old author, Milana Shapiro. There is a total of 25 pages which all have a poem with a picture to go with it. The poems are all different but many are centered in the outdoors. This book is great for kids all ages and helps them learn rhymes. It comes in an 11 inch length and 8.5 inch width so that the letters are easy to see for those who are still in the process of learning to read. It would also make a great gift as well as their first touch of poetry. The pictures are inspired by the poems and help encourage young readers.
