God, Revelation, and Faith : Teacher Guide

This teacher guide will help to expand your student's knowledge and explore how God reveals himself to us, focusing on two main modes of God's Revelation: the Scriptures and Tradition. Throughout these chapters the students will address the basic questions of who God is and how we come to know God. They will be presented with the understanding of God as the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, who is revealed through Sacred Tradition and Sacred Scriptures. The students will also explore the meaning of our human existence and how God is actively involved in the work of our salvation. Though it is God who saves us, the students will be challend to do their part: respond to God with faith. Each teacher guide provides a chapter opener, core chapter content, an emphasis on Scripture, time for prayer, and chapter activities. The teacher guides are directly tied to the chapters in the The Catholic Connections Handbook for Middle Schoolers (Saint Mary's Press, 2009). The handbook is a visually appealing, youth friendly presentation of the Catholic faith.
