Is a Group a Troop?

Ever wonder what kind of names apply to different animals? For example, did you know that a group of ducks are known as a raft? Or that when born, a baby kangaroo is known as a pinkie, and that's what a baby mouse is also called?We have created an illustrated alphabet of animals indicating the name for the father, mother, baby, group and in many cases the name of their home. You may know that the home of a family of rabbits is called either a nest or a warren.It has been fun for me to gather this information together and discuss it with young school students.
