Iberian Worlds

This text draws on political economics, history, geography, anthropology and cultural studies to explain the historical globalism of Iberia and to elucidate the rich implications of this multinational peninsula for the present. Geography and history provide the foundation to discuss institutions, divisions and flows of peoples and goods over time, while political economic studies elucidate patterns of development and underdevelopment that have shaped internal heterogeneity and external relations in the past century.
