The Ice Princess

In The Ice Princess, Zac Cobb returns home and discovers that his fiancee, Jenny Hays, has left town with a lawyer who claimed to know the whereabouts of Jenny's sister and her uncle Ian. Both of them are in Alaska and have asked for her help. Against the advice of friends, Zac follows Jenny from San Francisco to the old Russian capital of Sitka. He is introduced to Ian Hays, a wealthy man who is mysteriously sick and fears for his life. Zac suspects that Ian is being slowly poisoned, and a dark family secret appears to be a motive. But when Ian suddenly turns up dead, Zac finds himself in pursuit of an unknown killer who is bent on the family's destruction. In what becomes a high-stakes game for Alaskan power and wealth, Zac and Jenny fight against all the odds in a battle for their lives.
