In step with the dramatic changes in inpatient psychiatric nursing that have occurred in recent decades, this handbook describes numerous interventions that have been successfully used in inpatient psychiatric acute care settings. Designed for use by nursing students and new nurses, the text is organized in an easy access format that includes description and context of behavior, nursing care goals, and sub goals.
