The Into Africa exhibit at the Smithsonian features more than thirty years of fieldwork in Africa by Frans Lanting, one of the world’s most renowned nature photographers. H.R.H. Prince Bernhard inducted him as a Knight in the Royal Order of the Golden Ark, the Netherlands’ highest conservation honor.
