Caleb Harrison doesn't believe the medallion his fiancie has given him is a magical amulet from Atlantis. Then he is transported from 1836 to the 21st Century where he meets Becci Berclair, his fiancie's descendent. Becci is sure that the workman who has collapsed in her home is insane. He claims to be the murderer of her namesake, Mary Rebecca Berclair, in 1836, but Becci can't believe this gentle man is a killer.
