John Stark Bellamy II is the history specialist for the Cuyahoga County Public Library and a freelance writer and critic. He comes by his taste for the sensational honestly, having grown up reading stories about Cleveland crimes and disasters written by his grandfather, Paul, editor of The Plain Dealer, and his father, Peter, who wrote for The Cleveland News and The Plain Dealer. He is the author of three other collections of Cleveland crime and disaster stories
