Ha publicado obras como Hacia el fin del mundo, El filo de tu piel, La mujer infinita, Con la noche encima, ¿De qué color es tu sombra?, Mi abuela la loca y la trilogía Malamor. En 2012 fue seleccionado por la revista About.com de The New York Times como uno de los diez mejores escritores latinoamericanos jóvenes.
