Le Joueur

This edition of Le Joueur was first published in 1918, Its editor, Arthur Tilley, was a Fellow of King's College, Cambridge. Jean FranYois Regnard was a talented comic playwright, born in Paris in 1655. This 1696 play Le Joueur, or 'The Gamester', is one of his best-known works.
