Life Attitudes

Life Attitudes is a five-part course that explores and grapples with the Beatitudes - or 'beautiful attitudes' outlined by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. These eight radical sayings contain both values for living and promises of blessing, and focus our minds on what makes us truly happy. The Beatitudes are a striking reminder that Christianity is lived faith, not just a set of ideas, and studying them will both deepen our understanding of Jesus and challenge our deepest personal values. We discover that the Beatitudes touch the whole of life, affecting our relationships and addressing the culture and values of the society in which we live. Five complete study sessions are included here with notes for leaders, creative discussion starters and group study, prayers and practical ideas for 'living the kingdom now'.
