Little Yellow Pear Tomatoes

This exquisite offering examines the circle of life through the innocent eyes of a young girl, who marvels at all the energy and collaboration it takes to grow yellow pear tomatoes. She sees that everyone and everything brings something essential to the little fruits she loves so much. Demian's inspiration for this book came from the Zen teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh, as well as her youngest daughter, Brhiannon, who really does love pear tomatoes.

Demian ElainT Yumei, known professionally as DreamSinger, is a singer, songwriter and activist, whose inspiring CD For the Sake of Love was recently released. Demian considers the creative arts to be direct expressions of her spirituality. She was inspired to write this unique story after recognizing the common threads between her daughter's love for yellow pear tomatoes and the Zen teaching of interconnectedness.Demian lives in Wrightsville, PA with her daughter Brhiannon, their little lop-eared companion Buddha Bunny, and Angel, her little Malti-Poo. Her first ôprofessionalö illustrations were in activity books and travel brochures created for trips with her little brother, including fanciful adventures in their backyard.A graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art, Nicole lives with her daughter Sienna outside of Boston.
