Management, Organisations and Film provides a critical historical analysis of representations of management and organization in film. Using a diverse range of classic and contemporary films from the 1920s to present day to explore common scenic conventions, such as the open-plan office or the elevator encounter, and characters, such as the drone-worker, corporate executive and career girl, the book argues that these representations provide important insights into enduring concerns about the role of organisations.
