Managing Behind the Wall

As I entered the automatic sliding doors on that first day in April, I had no idea of the challenges that would lay ahead. The new store was known as the place to be in my small hometown, but I would some find it was a place of many adventures. I soon learned the processes and perils of being on the front line of the retail behemouth. But, I held that line for nearly five years and fought side by side with many an associate during those days (and nights). Ultimately, I learned many lessons in leadership by seeing the good and bad from within the box known as Big-Mart.
