Mattimeo A Tale from Redwall

Slagar the Fox is determined to vanquish peaceable Redwall. A small mouse, not naturally marked by the brand of the Warrior, as was Martin the Abbey spirit, or Matthias, the little fellow's father. Mattimeo had an easy life; he was slightly spoiled by the kind Redwall creatures, pretty much the Abbey pet. But within him, the resolution and courage to be a great Warrior showed itself through a twist of fate. "Within these pages you will learn how it all happened, the privations and evils he endured with other young friends, until he became the one they all looked up to, the hero.
