Bo quiere encontrar el recipiente perfecto para mostrar sus canicas tradicionales en la Fiesta Nacional Cheroqui. El recipiente debe tener el tamaño justo: lo suficientemente grande como para que quepan todas las canicas y lo suficientemente pequeño como para caber en el puesto de venta que su familia tendrá en el festival cheroqui. ¡Además debe ser bonito! Con la ayuda de su abuela, Bo encuentra lo que necesita. Este cuento es una exploración divertida sobre los conceptos de capacidad y volumen, que incluye personajes nativos americanos y un glosario de palabras cheroquis.
 
La serie Storytelling Math (Cuentos Matemáticos) celebra el uso de las matemáticas en las aventuras diarias de niños y niñas, a medida que juegan, construyen y descubren el mundo que los rodea. Bo wants to find the perfect container to show off his traditional marbles for the Cherokee National Holiday. It needs to be just the right size: big enough to fit all the marbles, but not too big to fit in his family's booth at the festival. And it needs to look good! A playful exploration of volume and capacity featuring Native characters and a glossary of Cherokee words.

Storytelling Math celebrates children using math in their daily adventures as they play, build, and discover the world around them. Joyful stories and hands-on activities make it easy for kids and their grown-ups to explore everyday math together. Developed in collaboration with math experts at STEM education nonprofit TERC, under a grant from the Heising-Simons Foundation.

Art Coulson es de Oklahoma y cheroqui, y proviene de una familia de narradores. Entre sus primeros recuerdos están los cuentos que le contaba y le leía su abuela, con él sentado en su falda. En la actualidad escribe libros para jóvenes, como Unstoppable: How Jim Thorpe and the Carlisle Indian School Football Team Defeated Army [Imparables: Cómo Jim Thorpe y el equipo de fútbol americano de la escuela indígena Carlisle venció al Ejército]. Art vive con su familia en Minneapolis, Minnesota.
 
Art Coulson is Cherokee from Oklahoma and comes from a family of storytellers. Some of his earliest memories are of listening to stories and reading books on his grandmother's lap. Art now writes his own books for young readers, including Unstoppable: How Jim Thorpe and the Carlisle Indian School Football Team Defeated Army. He lives with his family in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
