Our Hope

The life and writings of Paul make up a large percentage of the New Testament. Yet many Christians struggle to grasp their significance, because the culture and concerns they address seem so far removed from our own life experience. The Messenger of Grace Bible study series, based on Kenneth Schenck's Paul--Messenger of Grace, helps small groups and individuals go deeper in their understanding of Paul and his letters. Like the book, these studies begin with sound scholarship and focus on applying Paul's life and letters to contemporary life in a practical way. Each six-week study focuses on one of Paul's letters from the earlier part of his ministry and includes both weekly and daily study components.

Kenneth Schenck is academic dean and professor of New Testament and Christian Ministry at Wesley Seminary in Marion, Ind. Dr. Schenck is the author of several books, including God's Plan Fulfilled, Paul-Messenger of Grace, and Paul-Soldier of Peace.
