The Past Begins

Archeologist Jim Savage is working late in his office when an explosion rocks the office directly below his; trapping him inside with smoke pouring in. Little did Jim suspect that the cause of the blast was the murder of a man bringing two very unusuall artifacts from the jungles of central Mexico to him for his expert opinion. One of the two objects eventually makes it into Jim's hands and it takes them deep into the jungles looking for the origin and their meaning. With only the murdered man's childhood sweetheart showing them the way; they eventually do discover a place where one civilization died another was born and yet another may be saved.
