Be Patient and wait was designed to teach children that waiting isn't all that bad. The book uses repetitive language which allows children to participate while listening. Each page ends with Mikey's mother reminding him to" Be Patient and Wait" The book comes with questions that help children understand that sometimes there are reasons why they may have to wait. The book also has recall, prediction and thinking questions. The book is designed to support children on the Autism Spectrum Disorder or early childhood education.
