Warren Hanson is a gifted writer, illustrator, speaker and musician. In addition to THE NEXT PLACE, he has authored and illustrated OLDER LOVE, BEGINNING, RAISING YOU ALONE, KIKI'S HATS, and PAW PRINTS IN THE STARS, among others. And he is the illustrator of Tom Hegg's classic A CUP OF CHRISTMAS TEA, the series of books about a colorful little bear named PEEF, and many more.Warren travels the country speaking to groups of adults and children. He lives in St. Paul, Minnesota, and Houston, Texas.
