Author Wayne Bailey connects the history of music--why it was created and how it was first used--to how and where we hear music now and what it means to us in the present day.
Wayne Bailey is Professor of Music at the Herberger Institute's School of Music at Arizona State University, where he teaches music appreciation and graduate and undergraduate courses in conducting.
