The Pig Said Woof!

The Pig Said Woof!, a children's book appropriate for ages 2 to 8, is a cleverly illustrated book of verse that tells the story of an unusual day in the life of a farmer and the animals on his farm. The animals' voices are all mixed up! All the illustrations are fabric collages on watercolor background.

Donna Borrelli Long retired in 2008 from the Martin County School District, Stuart, Florida after twenty-five years as an elementary teacher and Speech  Language Pathologist. She enjoys writing short stories, poems, song parodies and essays. Her previous publications include the children's books, As I see...By The Sea, and Can You Hear The Rainforest Sing? Her non-fiction book, From Philadelphia To The Battle Of The Bulge, is a poignant collection of family letters written during World War II, along with photographs, historical notes, essays and timelines, all of which describe a story of love, loss and shattered dreams.
