Using the idea of 'right-field', relating to Tabb's experience of having to share a Little League t-shirt with his brother because their millionaire father was too mean to buy one for each of them, the book will trace Tabb's growing sense of isolation and rebellion from birth through near the end of tenth grade.

George Tabb is an iconic and influential songwriter, musician, television producer, actor, author, and activist. His bands, from Roach Motel to Furious George have been influential to musicians around the globe, and young musicians continue to re-record many of Tabb’s original songs to this day. His first two books Playing Right Field and Surfing Armageddon, both memoirs, have won various awards, as well as have been translated into many languages across the globe. He lives in New York City.
