Dr Kathryn Geldard is senior lecturer in counselling and counsellings program coordinator in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of the Sunshine Coast, Queensland Australia. Her research interests include adolescent peer counselling, counselling effectiveness and counsellor training and assessment. She is the author of a number of textbooks on counselling and has several years' experience in supervising and training counsellors.
